Catholic CEO

How Church teachings can help us build better organizations

About Catholic CEO Founder Bill Bowman

I am a consultant who works with business executives interested in applying these principles in their organizations.

I have led companies as President or CEO for over 25 years.

Before starting Catholic CEO, I was President and CEO of U.S. Inspect located in Chantilly, VA. Prior to that, I served as President of ChildrenFirst Inc. in Boston (now Bright Horizons), the nation’s largest provider of backup child care services to corporations.

I was also involved in three entrepreneurial ventures. In 1982 I co-founded Spinnaker Software Corporation, one of the nation’s first educational software companies. After selling Spinnaker to The Learning Company, I began the operations of Israel-based Logal Software, Inc., another educational software company where I served as president and which I helped take public in 1996. My third venture was also in the educational field. In 1978 I co-founded The Montrose School, an independent day school for girls in grades six through twelve located in Medfield, Massachusetts. In 2009 Montrose was designated as one of Boston Magazine’s Top 10 Private Schools.

I am an engineering honors graduate of Northwestern University and received my MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.

I am married to Leigh Bowman, and we are the parents of nine children. We live in Arlington, Massachusetts.
